What freedoms don't I have? I can carry as many shells as I want where I hunt. So can everyone else and more times than not it has made for a harder hunt for me than it if it was the other way around. Regardless I don't think the government should step in a regulate a fucking thing. Should the government regulate businesses to keep them all equal and fair? If someone gets to hunt everyday of the season and you get to hunt half of it, should the government regulate it so it can be fair and they don't get to kill more than you? We were a free country until people with your logic and ideals ruined it.

Chalk another one up for the "shell limit supporters are exactly the same as gun control advocates".

You're free to pick and choose your shots like you've got some damn sense about you. Not spray and pray at every freakin duck that comes within 300 yards of you. Public game lands are a damn nightmare and if you limit the number of times the ass clowns can attempt to sky bust, chances are the hunting will be better for all in the area.

Everyones health would be better too if it was limited to only healthy foods and products, everyones life would be safer if there weren't private transportation, etc, etc, etc. Your point is that you're against freedom?

There are 70 parties all spaces out about 150-200 yards apart. 20k ducks flying around the refuge looking for a place to eat. With unlimited shells a guy could easily shoot 100 times in a half day hunt at out of range birds. They might hit 10 and find 2. Unless you've experienced over crowded management hunts you don't know the damage no shell limits would do.

The republic of Maryland does not have the public refuges I don't believe. Mattamuskeet here in nc has the same similar restrictions.

Refuges are their own beast. Desperate from all other public hinting. They are made for ducks first, hunters second. That's why there are many different regulations that restrict your "freedoms".

I've never had the displeasure of hunting a refuge with a shell limit. That said, I could see the pros of limiting the duck dynasties and fowl lifers from sky busting at every bird "they think" is in range but I would still never advocate for more government interference in hunting. They already butt in too much.

It is a matter of principle. Quit trying to further ruin and overpower an already too much ruined and overly powerful government. Go sign up for the obamacare that you are for.
