New Year Ducks

Worked all through the holidays, and took a little time off this week to hunt. Started last Saturday with an afternoon hunt, and ended the day with another limit of greys

Hunted the same area Sunday, and the results were the same, but it took a lot longer to fill the limit

Monday, headed to Acme, La with a couple of friends to try hunting flooded fields with a local farmer, and had a good time. Damn cold front put a 1" layer of ice over the fields, so the hunting was way off, but we still managed to kill a few. Here's out take on the first day.

Second day was very much like the first. Did not see many ducks, but what we saw came in with their feet in their face.

Drove back to Mobile Wednesday, and hunted our delta yesterday. Started with a Woodrow hunt that only yielded 1 bird, so we packed up and headed South to the causeway and made a p.m. hunt. Very slow and the birds are quite blind shy, but we ended the day with 4 Greys to go with the Woodie.

Came back to work today, figuring I could knock the hide off all of the backed up work, and make the upcoming Monday a little less hectic. Been an awesome start to the new year, and I'll be back in the boat tomorrow
