Where I hunted in LA, near the Atchafalaya, my mod-v pointy front mirrocraft deep fisherman was looked at like an alien space craft. If lived there if have a flat bottom, no ribs with a 1/4" thick bottom and a hell of a big motor

I knew that. Just saying guys like them need to know when they head north..leave the flat bottom monster boats behind. NeArk, I see lots of them and that's about as far north as you should.

i think a tight cornering v boat would have some merit there

My river Jon is ideal for timber. Turns on a dime. My mv worked good for that too. Hell, anything is good in the woods on skinny water.
