Made a blind today

Postby 3legged_lab » Sat Feb 08, 2014 7:55 pm

Buddies property had an old feed crib that I thought would convert perfectly to a 4 man pass shooting blind. Salvaged some wood from the burn pile on a jobsite and went to work. The only thing I had to buy was a pair of hinges and a couple boxes of screws. Added a floor, a couple benches and 2 shotgun shell shelfs. It'll work.

I think that'll hunt.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

You can just kill birds out in the middle of a CRP field like that?

The area to the right is his also, but about 30 yards to the left is the refuge which is closed for the late hunt. We shoot em when they fly out of there.

A couple seasons ago the staters came over and said "your guys are setting up right on the fence line and shooting into the 'states airspace', would you mind asking them to move back a couple yards?"

Go piss up a rope.

I am skeptical as to how well the OSB will stand up, especially for the seats. Looks great otherwise.
