Electrical guys

Postby NuffDaddy » Sat Feb 22, 2014 1:26 pm

I'm getting ready to rig up my boat for this spring and need a little help.
I'm running 8 lights up front so I need 8 hot wires and one to run back.
Is there a plug I can get somewhere that has a bunch if hook ups? I don't really want to use 4 3prong plugs.

Ohm.
I've heard that it's incredibly stupid to fuck around with a crazy man's head.

You could use a couple trailer light rigs. Depends on the size of the lights.

They pull 150w at 110v. Trailer lights seemed a little sketchy to me.

Do you have 110 vac on your boat?
You bought lights that run on AC for your boat?

Bowfishing. Put a generator on the boat.
They are high pressure sodium lights that require ballasts. I'm making a box to put the guts in. That will sit at the back of the boat, then I need a hot wire for each lamp to run up to the front of the boat on the platform.

Thanks!!! That's what I'm looking for.
Not sure I'm comfortable buying a Butt Plug though.

I just googled 8 pin electrical plug. If you look a little harder I'm sure you could find one more heavy duty.
