He invited me to stop by his home the next time I passed through so we could have a few drinks and he could show me the rocket launcher presented to him that shot down the Russian chopper. Sadly, he passed away before I had the opportunity. I was on the phone with him one day when his assistant told him he had another call. He asked who it was and said he'd call them back. Turns out it was Tom Hanks calling him while they were making the movie.
