It did something to the way the skin browns. The grease got cruddy with the flour. The chicken was tasty but a little salty. Use half the salt.
I'd add more hotsauce as it was kind of weak.
Its a work in progress. Tried something different. I'd call it a success with room to improve.

You like mojos? I never was that into them but boy....a lot of people were.
I remember cooking up tons of mojos and chicken for the buffets.
Had it sitting on the bar so you could get a beer each time you went for more.
