Damn I love this thread.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

Wood, maybe? Just a guess.

That was my first thought, but they could be a metal of some sort too.

Rex, if you wouldn't mind, could you post each award individually with a little explanation?
Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven." Such is the rule of honor.

Your trophies I think is what he was asking for.

My bad thought you meant cartridge. Yeah I can do that with the trophies. I'll do it Friday when I go back over to my moms house.

Actually, this is something that would interest me. Maybe not every cartridge, but perhaps the more rare/little known ones.

I'll put a picture of the whole thing, then take the ones that are unknown to most.

10 grains of Blue Dot with 53 grain bullet in 223 at 100 yards was pretty cool, literally. I could have a shell get warm being in my pocket, then shoot the bastard and pull it out immediately and it's cold to the touch. I'm guessing Velocity somewhere between 2,100 and 2,300 I'd guess. About like a 22 Hornet. I'm figuring 11 is MAX with a 50-55 grain pill. Shooting these loads was actually really "cool". The barrel didn't even think about getting hot.

Okay Rex, I'm gonna show my ass here (I don't know shit about reloading, except that eventually I need to get into it), but if 10 grains of Blue Dot leaves your casings cool to the touch and only runs you around 2300 fps, why the hell would 11 grains be MAX?

Because that's when pressures start peaking after 11 grains. Keep in mine that if I were loading a big rifle or something, a small charge like 10-11 grains is like 50 grains to 60 grains of powder in a big rifle. Like a 10 gr difference. Now the pressure signs I use mainly if hard bolt lift, and primers flattening out and enlarge the primer pocket. That's when I know it's way too much overload. Another thing I do on Remington style bolt faces is looking for a mark left from the ejector pin on the base of the case. This also means you have excessive pressure and should back off till you see no mark. Hope this helps out.
