My limit of ducks from my horrible monday morning shoot. It was windy and rainy and the ducks were flying.
Found out this year-
1. I can't hit a duck in the wind
2. The new decoys that my club bought and rigged are easier to pick up, because they don't have enough weight and blow across the pond into a pile on the edge
3. It is a law that when you have to put your gun down to pee, ducks will swarm the blind and leave as soon as you are done

5. Spoonies will always be there for you when you just want to get your limit and go home.

What a limit! All brown. Damn gadwall ruined my perfect hen spoony limit.

Yep sounds like a first trip of the season too me. I can't believe you dirtied your limit with a gadwall.

I like this idea. I could get a price quote from the guy I use for the shirts at the shop. His price drops with each unit. We just need the image data.

His price range is somewhere between 13 bucks for a single shirt at a time, down to about 9 bucks once you hit a quantity of 20.

What? I shoot a Benelli, there is no need to have a 'back up gun' in the truck. It just wouldnt make sense.

Out of everybody that I have hunted with this season the only gun that has been field stripped in the blind is, you guessed it, an 870. Mag tube spring was balled up and the plug was stuck in the top cap. He was only getting 1 shot out of every volly, so he felt the need to jump the shot on the rest of us.

I've had to field strip my SBEll a few times this year. But that's because I was shooting crappy steal target shells for doves. But other than that I haven't had any problems in 4 years.

Benelli= the finest most dependable single shots on the market. if your shooting a nova I will admit they are good guns. Very reliable but I've seen the semi autos malfunction more times then I can count.

There is no secret remington 870 is now junk. Pure product of exploitation in the free market. Ive had my supernova for 6 years and it has been flawless. I only use pump but i have an opinion: If you bought a versamax just quit and get back to your golf bag.

Actually I shoot a Remington 1100 for my primary gun, but it is atleast 25 years old probably more. I have had to replace a few parts that have worn out. I had the firing pin spring wear through 2 years ago, couldn't believe it. My back up is a Remington 870 that is probably about 20 years old, but looks brand new. The 870 likes to shoot spoonies.

I have an old berreta 390 it was cheap I've had it for about 10 yrs and it only jams when I get sand in the action but all I do is spit on and work it a while works like new. I guess u can say it has the temperament of a women just spit on it work it lol
