Not a bad day on the water (like there is such a thing). Not overly productive, but not bad

Was windy SOB out today. Stuck near the ramp and couldn't get across the lake.

Also the "cajun anchor" I rigged up worked like a champ despite a lot of skepticism. Used a 7' piece of 3/4" EMT, knocked down one end to a point and filled it with cement. Never let go once using it in 12' of water.

Did pretty well last night, probably caught a dozen bluegill and two dozen crappie damn near all this size.

Felt like it! Private pond that NOBODY fishes. All the crappie and bluegill are the size of car doors. Makes you feel like you know what you're doing!

Lol, that was my first experience with that contraption as well! Motorized dock is about the best way to describe it!

Had a great weekend fishing with the family and got into the walleye.
Came home with six gallons of fillets.

One of these times I'm hiding in your luggage. I was on Michigamme all weekend and really had to work for them.

Looks like a lot of 20+ there.

Man I'm stuffed! Walleye for the fourth time this week. Yeah they probably averaged 20" and the bigger fish were in the 24-26" range. We had a couple lousy days then the wind and weather changed and they really turned on.
If you get up this way I can't guarantee fish like that but it's always a good time.

Fished the past couple of days and had a great time but couldn't get into the back lakes with the boat we were using (22' Ranger) so we didn't do as well as we wished we would.

Today, caught a few for the box but the biggest was a stupid Sheephead. Good eating but a bitch to fillet.

Nope, not sure how hydro graphics would hold up on a fishing rod.

It would work. The pattern might not "show" as well on the smaller diameter but it would be doable. Talk one of your buddies into paying for it so you'll have a match 'cast-n-blast' set.
