You know its been a while when someone is posting pics of rain like its a big deal.

I remember how dry it got here but want to forget. The grass all died and it was awful.

It was great! I didn't have to mow but 4 times last summer!

Yeah. It was but remember pushing the boat because no water?

Was that Shelbyville in the pics you took last weekend? Looked like a place I hunt by Lithia Springs.

Yup. But up in wilborn. My "secret" pleasure boating spot. It actually has sand!

Went from June last year til late April without mowing. We're getting just enough to make my grass grow right now, which is a start. Need some big rains to help water levels in ponds and lakes, they are struggling.

I know exactly where I think. South side of lake there is a sandy point that has a beach. I used to go there about 25 years ago when my daughter was a toddler. Same place? Can't be two like it.

I know where your talking I think. This is north of the launch on the west side of the lake. Tiny little cove.

We could have a plan B for if we didn't get drawn. I have only been not drawn once there. It sucked.

I know the guys growing Chippers/processing stock get away with a lot more than fresh-pack but I haven't seen a rig like that in 20 years.

They got some old stuff. I saw one of the grimme in othello Washington a few years back. The speed compared to what they do here was incredible.

One of the operations I'm familiar with grows for Frito Lay and they made a few videos a couple years ago...do yourself a couple favors... 1) skip to the 5 minute mark 2) mute the hillbilly music

Good stuff! Looks like a 6 row?

Six row windrower followed by a 6 row harvester, they run 8 or 9 of those pairs on something like 9k acres of spuds.
