Ammo Sale Heads Up

Postby sws002 » Wed May 28, 2014 11:58 pm

Figured I'd give you boners a heads up. Starting today through Sunday, Bass Pro is having their Federal Top Gun trap loads on sale for $5/box. Not a print ad deal (I believe there are some e-mails going out) and the only catch is you are limited to 10 boxes per purchase. This includes all Top Gun loads EXCEPT steel, so if you do any amount of target shooting, this is a hell of a deal, I know I'm going to be buying at least one flat.

I reload for half that price. I remember when they were $4 a box. Now that shit is god damn 7.50 a box. Best I've seen in a long time.

Our everyday on it is right at $6.99, and that is our cheapest target ammo. There aren't many people who can reload for less than $5 a box anymore, especially considering how hard powder is to find right now.

Powder is relatively easy for us right now; bullets are killing us. Can't find a single 6.5 bullet anywhere!

What are you selling STS's for a box. Running about $8.50 here.

I think that is what I might do as well. Which Bass Pro are you closest to?

Honestly couldn't tell you. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I'd mail you a flat, but I have no idea what it's gonna cost in shipping.

That's amazing. They're a dollar cheaper here. If I didn't reload, I'd be shooting STSs over Top Guns. Might as well spend the dollar more for better ammo and reloadable hulls.

If you call, ask to speak to Justin, he is their hunting manager I believe. Tell him Skyler from Council Bluffs gave you a heads up, he might be able to help you out.

Yup. Was just down in Branson for a week for training, buddied up to the Cali boys (they ain't ALL bad). This way, I'll have my pick of which sodomites I want to stay with when I make my way out to kill some Left Coast birds.
