There were gulls flying down the river, dad had been asking him if he wanted them, had him all worked up.

It was probably right around 200 yards. I could see the color in his eyes with the spotter. Sheep are fucking dumb and not scared of people at all; he knew I was there.

There were 8 rams total, he was the second biggest, but none of them were that big. That area probably holds the largest bighorn sheep rams in North America. The big ones are something to behold; we saw a group of 4 last fall while elk hunting that all went 180-190" according to a guy we talked to. Score on a bighorn doesn't mean a whole lot to me, but those sheep were fuggin' huge!
