Waders

Postby assateague » Thu Jun 19, 2014 11:54 pm

Was just getting some stuff for trapping season, and came across these waders. LaCrosse 5mm Super Tuff 1000G for $170. I just bought a pair of waders last year, so don't need any, but thought I'd put this here anyway. And they actually have a lot of sizes, 7-14.

Haven't checked today, but Frogg Toggs are also on a damn good sale, just ordered a new pair of Bull Toggs, mine finally crapped out after 4 years.

My cousin bought the Columbia gadwall ones and likes them fine. When I saw them they looked like they were made to be rip resistant.

I've got the Columbia Wigeons, have been happy with them though haven't used them as hard as I typically do a pair of waders, my previous pair were the Lacrosse Brush Tuffs and they wore out after a few seasons.

I bought a pair of the columbias last year, worst pair ive had. Damn near leaked from the get go, now ive got no less than a dozen holes, and not from tears or snags either, craftsmanship is not the waders strong points. Also the sole pattern is horrendous and wore off in 1 season! Im looking into a pair of breathables and just be done with it!

Columbia waders have a lifetime warranty.
