I will see your Tuesday's Gone, and raise you Four Walls of Raiford. But this is one of those cases where the remake is way better than the original. But hey, it's Jamey Johnson.

Sorry my friend, but I have to confess that I always thought of Peter Frampton as a bit of a one trick pony. One hell of a guitar player, considered at one time to replace Mick Taylor in the Stones, but just no fire coming out of him. They also considered Ry Cooder, but he was too much of a prima donna to get into what Keith required, the ability to seamlessly transition between lead and rhythm and other roles in the music. They went to Jack Perkins, Jeff Beck, Ry Cooder, and others, then Ronnie walked in. He walked in and interplayed with Keith as Brian had done (and kept up drinking with him). The deal was sealed. They were a London band, and to project the sound they wanted that couldn't change.

Yeah right. Every single one of the Stones look like monkeys. They killed the one that didn't. No way they were going to bring a pretty boy into the band who was also a better guitar player. He'd pull all of the choice groupies. Keith and Mick wouldn't have that happen.

  Yep, I bet whoever gets the POA is a real source of problems within the Stones! Actually, they did do just that, once. Mick Taylor. Pretty blonde boy and a better guitar player than either Keith or Ronnie! He quit and went on to bigger and better things......playing in dive bars for $500 a night!
