Most people say that if a transmission hasn't given you any trouble and is not low of fluid not to even touch it. If you were to do a filter change on it to re-use the old fluid. Automatic transmissions even modern ones can do funny stuff with new non broken down fluid.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

X2. You already got enough trouble. Don't go messing around with the transmission until it breaks downs all over the place.
