When they saw we were all around 13-14 year olds they came back and apologized and said hi. These two dudes had no less than 30 dead ducks in the middle of their boat. Fuck that! We were lowering some bent up lead pipe into a molten pot that was already half full, it trapped some air inside and when it expanded it "popped" and shot lead at me. The only upside is, it cools down so fast it didnt hurt too bad. Had lead stuck on my shirt, face and in my beard.

I'm assuming it's not just aluminum. The bottom of the boat probably has a layer of composite plastic/Kevlar. They put it on some jet boats here and call it a "rock hopper bottom".
