Didn't realize it until that pic reminded me, but while they were everywhere up home, I don't think we have any at all in SWLA.

What we do have, though, is bazillions of banana spiders. Have to carry a spider stick in the woods:

Only threatening here, but we've had nothing but popcorn showers lately and could use a good soaking. (Especially since we're out of the marsh for a couple days.)

Oops, just checked the forecast, and they're calling for nearly 100% chance of rain and T-storms Fri, Sat and Sun when we're supposed to be making our swing through the Islands and Grand Chenier... Don't mind getting wet, but not keen on being electrojolted.
