AT would know, but I can see the difference, I think. Every intake is saturated. You can't sneak a little air through pursed lips. Every intake is wet and stifling. Remember the old scenes of holding someone's head under water for torture. You're very limited. The guy freaks, but he can only hold his breath so long, then he aspirates and drowns. The waterboarding relies on our FEAR of drowning, not talk or drown. Like everything else, the fear is worse than the actuality. At least that's my opinion. Now I'll let at talk, who knows what he's talking about!

Because like GJ said, it tricks your brain into thinking you're drowning, which is probably worse than actual drowning. At least there, you only know it to a point, then you black out and die. Although I don't know for a fact, you could most likely continually waterboard someone for quite a long while with no harm. I'm talking a LONG time. Seriously, though, next time you're in the shower, just wet the washcloth and lay it on your face, then put your face into the shower itself. You won't drown, but I promise, your body won't like it.

No thanks. There's better things to do in the shower.

3,000 Miles to Graceland. Best character Costner ever played. Hands down. Bar none.

Looks interesting FF! Josh Brolin is a great actor. I think we're gonna be seeing a whole lot of movies of his! He was really good in No Country for Old Men.

Been rewatching the "John Adams" miniseries before bed the last couple nights. If you haven't seen it, it's well worth it.

I tried to set the DVR to "record series", and got 9 copies of Episode 1. Maybe I'll try again, because I really wanted to see it.

I'll take a swing at this technology again first. Plus, the only DVD player is in Layniebug's room, and watching John Adams from the comfort of Hello Kitty sheets just seems disrespectful.

I don't know, at. I think those were the exact words Ben Franklin uttered on his first trip to France.
