Yep...that's the one. But he never names him in the book. He's referred to as "old scruff face" or something to that effect.
I don't see how they could censor that, but nothing surprises me anymore.

I would agree with that. And, Marcus Luttrell's second book was just about as good.
He definitely tells the tale in writing better than Kyle did, (or whoever actually put them to print).

50 pages in and not too bad. He's definitely not a writer. It reads like he talks I assume. But enjoying it so far

That's why I enjoyed it so much. Felt like I was sitting listening to a badass tell me story after story. I may have to read it again when I get done with line survivor.....

Read several of these type of books and if I had to list them in order I'd say, Lone Survivor as 1a and Marine sniper 1b. No Easy Day number three, and Seal Team Six and American sniper tied for number four. I've read the first two I listed twice, the are really good reads. I'm 3/4 of the way through Five Years to Freedom, it's a slow read at parts though.

That is awesome!! I remember reading that other snipers started wearing white feathers in their hats as to cause confusion. Any idea if that was true? If you find that wanted poster please post a pic, would love to see it.

I think there is a book out there about a guy named Jerry "mad dog" Shriver, read some really interesting stuff about him online. Sounded like a true hero, still MIA correct?

Yes. Jerry went missing on April 24th 1969 on a mission "over the fence" in Cambodia. He is listed as MIA but the fellas that were there that day know he was killed.....there's no way he would have allowed himself to be taken alive. I still have his MIA bracelet on the shifter of my Jeep.
Had the pleasure/honor of sharing a few beers with him one time at the Special Forces Club in Pleiku.
