Has anyone ever walked up on some foxfire? Pretty spooky till I realized why there was splotches of glowing stuff on the ground. I was pretty sure I was about to get abducted and probed by aliens.

Is it messed up that I laugh every time I hear about a surfer being bit by a shark?

Damn surfers ruined a great surf fishing spot I fished as a kid. They're asking for it.

It's not just surfers per say. Pretty much anybody that knowingly gets more than ankle deep into the ocean. Sharks live in the ocean.

Yeah but, the theory is, when a surfer is paddling out, he looks like a seal or sealion from below. Swimmers do get attacked but, I think surfers are at the top of the list for frequency of attacks by far. Either way, it's still their own fault. Like you said sharks are in the ocean.
