Anyone have any air?

Postby Mean Gene » Thu Aug 21, 2014 8:15 pm

It's getting hard to chew the oxygen out of the air at my house.

Yuck. Glad I don't have to deal with that

We'll be dealing with it until the Forest Service puts out their fires. In other words...when the winter rains arrive.

Every time the weather clears, it gets hazy here. From all the fires west of here

Probably a mile. Fires are west of here and every afternoon we get a west wind. Awesome.

I know what you are dealing with Gene. We have a cabin up between Callahan and Cecilville, the White fire which is part of the July Complex is only about a mile away from us. I hiked out last weekend and got a pic of the valley it is in, can't see the fire but it was less than a half a mile from where I was.

If the Forest Service was able to do timber sales without getting sued by the so called environmental groups, forest fires would not be as big of an issue.
