I maintain a healthy disrespect for the DNR. I didn't even bother going out this afternoon, since the wind's blowing about 30 and the woods are full of idiots.

BUT I CAN HUNT TOMORROW! It's my one of two "bless you, my son"s from the MD legislature.

The biologists here are more concerned with bringing the wolves back than properly managing the deer herd. And they have come right out and said that.

I abandoned the quad and best feet it the last bit to my stand area. I love that thing but it's a bitch when she gets stuck and my winch cable was frozen solid.

Buck down. Dropped him like a rock, little spike that I've passed on before but being the last day and all.

No one wants to say it? 3 leg?

Woulda been a nice trophy buck next year!

Congrats Olly. First one is always a good feeling.
Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven." Such is the rule of honor.

But, you dropped more meat than I did this year. I just made them walk to my family to shoot them. Good job.

Any tips on dealing with the hairs? Or is picking them off little by little the best way.
