From what I gather...one guy likes 7.5 steel dove loads to waterfowl hunt. But another guy says there is no such thing. Other guy blows off the handle. Second guy keeps going...first guy keeps going....I waste 5min of my day listing to 2 guys argue about 1/2 shot size.

Not really wasted though because it's funny as fuck.

I really don't see the point in it. At the ranges 7.5 would penetrate you would have plenty of pattern density with 3s or 4s. All I can see happening with 7.5s is some shot up ducks and busted teeth.
