I want to say thanks to Woody and his dad for not only inviting me to hunt with them but also to open up their cabin and allow me to hang around for a few days. I know we missed the birds but I can say I still had a blast, you boys are more than welcome to hunt with me anytime. Thanks guys!

We were more than happy to have you, Bud. Just wish the weather had held and we could have found more ducks. Next year we will get them, and if we are lucky I wont be afraid to put the layout in open water for you.

For those that are wondering, Olly is good people.

We both suffer from the problem of having to travel and take vacation to get to the UP. I was just lucky the birds were there the first week. At least we weren't the only ones who didn't see a lot. I talked to a friend of mine over in Marquette and he said the birds left his area too. That's west UP.

Some day those bays will be out my back door.

Then some day we'll be almost neighbors. I dream of living on the south side of Munuscong with a water front view!
