It's off shore lake.
Not much different between fishing here than off shore salmon in Alaska.

Heres the scenario.. You and a buddy who you have been hunting with for 2 years has permission on large fields and had you sign a permission slip so you too can hunt.. Well you been hunting it for two years now land owner gives permission to a few groups of guys so getting permission is pretty easy.. Now the friendship ends .. You have permission do you still continue to hunt .. Now ok this is what is going on with me and a old friend I problly wont hunt it this year anymore but would I be wrong if I went and talked to land owner and he granted me and my son permission or would that be a **** move to the old friend or is it gloves off since friendship is over.. Now I know it can be done to me but 99% of my farmers wont grant permission to anyone else but me while Im still wanting to hunt it..so Im good there.. So whats your thought ??

Joe I know your from PA and this happens a lot. Just let it go and scout hard find a better field and choose better friends.

Yep. That's why I own 2 farms in my town and year lease 2 fields in Arkansas. This was a question asked not how does everyone hunt. This deal I spoke of was years ago and the 1 public spot I still hunt. You don't know me or how I hunt/what I own. I was responding to the question asked

Like someone said before, since you asked the question you already know the answer. Public or not, if someone shows me a hole, or in your case, gets me a "permission slip" to hunt, I'm NOT going back, PERIOD. Some on here see it differently. I started hunting ducks at age 4 and I'm 42 now. I don't know a single guy that I've taken hunt'n or who's taken me, that I can't or don't, hunt with today. If a few ducks is worth burning a friendship over, well I think the whole point of being out there is missed. And now that I take my son on every hunt, an argument in the duck hole, with an ol buddy, at 5 am, just ain't gonna happen. So, since your not going back, you wanna give this AL boy some directions?
