Why is it ridiculous. And yes it's true.

Jumping $10 in one year. It started in 34 costing a $1 and has gone up $14 in 80 years. Ridiculous.

I still don't see why it's ridiculous. There hasn't been an increase in years and it's $10 bucks. I could see bitching if it was $100 bucks but really $10 more it ain't going to break you.

No increase since '91. It's really not a huge deal other than my license now costs almost $125 bucks but you know that. Probably the least expensive thing I buy for hunting season.

Exactly. I also he the public hunting as well. Add a public hunt permit on that and that's what I buy.

As long as the extra $10 goes for a good cause it doesn't bother me. Licenses are the cheapest part.

Something like 90% of all the money collected from duck stamp sales goes directly to wetland purchase and protection, that's something all duck hunters can be proud of - if it weren't for us I suspect there wouldn't be nearly the duck population in North America that currently exists. Next time someone gives you shit for killing ducks be sure and ask them what they've done.

I'd pay it, but I know a lot of my buddy's that I take out a couple times a year wouldnt. I think $25 is a pretty decent number. Doesn't kill the wallet, but still gives plenty back to the ducks.

I meant that tongue in cheek, while all the googans running amuck in the marsh make me nuts it would suck to see people get priced out of waterfowling.

I figured you guys did. For someone that does it a lot, It wouldn't bother me much. But 90% of the hunters hunt less than 10 days. Would be a big hit to have a $100 stamp.

Doesn't bother me to pay more for a duck stamp.

What does bother me is that the National Wildlife Refuges that we pay for are typically staffed by a bunch of liberal ass tree huggers.
