Hey I brought this up a few weeks ago! Bill aims to allow federal lands (that are sometimes used for hunting) to go back to the states.

I'm actually torn on this one, I mean the states should own the land to begin with BUT we all that most states don't have the funds to handle large tracts of lands and along with corruption we will see these wilderness areas being sold soon after being sold or given back to the states.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

Wildlife and the habitats they live in are subjects that man has proven themselves untrustworthy of handling.
Because of that it is one the very few powers/responsibilities I feel need to be given to the government at the federal and state level. If it is something that needs consideration on a regional level then the state should be involved, but on maters too large for the state to handle financially or otherwise then the fed should be brought in.

No reason to be torn in my opinion.
