Nothing else to hunt

Postby Legband » Sat Jun 13, 2015 11:45 am

Well with Duck season long gone and turkey season also in the rear view mirror I couldn't find anything to hunt.
Fishing is cool and I realy enjoy stream fishing for trout but fishing isn't hunting so I had to to get a few kills under my belt , so this morning i got the call to take the irrigation water and while I was irrigating the orchard I went after a few migrators that came in last night when my neighbor irrigated his field.
My choice of weapons was a 11 inch shank ridgid 4 gauge.
I went four for four and you will never guess one was banded. Well maybe not lol.
