The good and the bad

Postby Ricky Spanish » Wed Jun 08, 2022 6:34 am

Screwed around and got popular enough to attract some hate. It's both weird and annoying.
So? Discovered I have followers?
Maybe they'll follow me here.
Ham it up my Jammies!
Get ready for the pooty tang references and kung pow. ;)
Have fun.
I reserve the right to spew hate back onto anyone foolish enough to get hateful.

I have three grandsons. Two are toddler 4T size.
I'm making their July 4th flag shirts again.
First try washed out and the stripes are pink n red.

Always wondered how that worked, with the kaleidoscope shaped patterns.

This is easy.
Usual pattern is you find the center of the t-shirt. Pinch then grab with needle-nose players or forceps...BRB with a video.

There are harder patterns. Much harder.

the bow tie turns into the shirt below.

Everything has a mistake.
I dropped dark blue where the turquoise goes..might be a good mistake or not.
Will see TOMORROW.

Tomorrow I rinse the shirts in water with color safe bleach? Yes. I think the peroxide "sets" the colors.
A little dawn dish soap too.
Odd process but you rinse and squeeze the shirt. The colorfastness prevents your whites from taking dye somehow or your shirt is a wash out.
I've screwed up a couple shirts by being impatient.
If I get hungry I'll sell the "dashiki rasta shirts".
They're cool and pretty easy.
I have a new covered trailer I'll make into a "honey wagon".
Farmers market stuff.
Hippie shirts will attract the right crowd to buy honey I think. Quail eggs too? Hell yeah!

I thought I'd clicked on a dumb video on cooking a carp. He shears a sheep then a goat.
Holy cow that's a cool tea pot.
What culture is this?

Discovered that quite a few of the tie dye channels on YouTube are Phillipino. Try ordering and you need to speak a language that starts with "P".

This joint needs more traffic, offering punch and pie may boost banter?

These were done yesterday and rinsed out today.

Been trying new ways to tie.
TV Tie straps work good. REMEMBER THATS AN AUNT BETTY INNOVATION. I do that a lot but most call it " jury rigging things"
The green-yellow one without black dots was tied using them. Not sure where them dots came from. It's magical.

Ok I'll even get a Gilden shirt from Michael's.
I discovered that using a premium brand heavy shirt makes a better project.
Giant size will be easier I think.
Toddler 4T is very small.

Now I forget what I came for.
Bitching about mowing prolly.
Uh...I think you sent me goodies already.
I can do a shirt.

They fade a little on the first wash and dry cycle.
Use color safe bleach.

When asked about a favorite color he said "rainbow black".

Study this lamp.
It is very very old and it has a "masonic" theme to it.
There is stone in the base and that ball is a rock too.

Feel the need to point out errors.
The spiral shirt has a brown dot in the center sort of.
That's a big screwup. When dying with secondary colors keep them away from the center or it makes brown.
I knew it and had one wayward squirt and it's all over but the crying. 8-)
