That's a typical thing for me. Grab what I have and just make something with it.
I still have quite a bit of venison in the freezer. Trying to clear it out before September 1 when early goose starts so hopefully I start filling it for the next year. Need to do an inventory, but I'm thinking about 20 lbs or so of venison with some crane and some old, hopefully still edible goose buried in there

More or less. I wouldn't go as far as ribeye, but a good sirloin. It's very good eating. I don't do anything but cook it like I would a steak. Similar texture. Similar flavor.
