He asked me to not return.
That'll sting forever.

I think he lost a lot of respect from some people on the fuge from that move. But hey, the sun still rises and sets regardless of people’s actions and we still going to shoot birds.

My Arkansas pals want me there. I am fairly certain that there are more mallards in Arkansas. Pintails too.
This hunt was awesome.

This news is off the charts weird so sit down.
Family medicine dept was destroyed so they moved it to the 5th floor which is smaller than the basement.
Once moved they decided its not enough space and canceled half of all appointments. (Gasp)
Admin quickly decided "put it all back".
Welll...there's a little problem.

The walls were wet for over 72 hours. This means cut them out. The bottom three feet and cove base is gone.
Imagine going to a doctor visit there.
Confident?
Thats what we're dealing with today.
They'll walk all over their own pecker to get that money.
Yours too.

Tomorrow the low is low 40s.
I'm taking a buddy heater because I can.
Now is a good time to point out this nifty gadget again.

Something about motoring out in the dark, finding the spot, setting up the boat-fort is fun.
Even if i don't get to shoot its fun.
Got my radio.
50 minutes to go.
Then wear eyes out searching a gray sky for little dumb birds. Awesome

Storm update looks much better unless you’re in Florida.

Felt good.

Just decoyed a nice hen mallard.
Letting her go hurt my dogs feelings. :o
I'm running goose and teal decoys. One spinner. Slight breeze sideways.
Set spread before wind picked up. I just got lucky and did it right. Them teal were very close.
Thanks OG

These Clinton Lake hunts are different.
I beach the boat. Dog can just hop in. No dog ladder.

In Arkansas I usually end up in deep water with the dog ladder. It's a little harder.

Rats.
Saw big flock of teal. Grabbed call and turned em here they come...
I look down and gee another flock I didn't see lands. I'm like "be still".
Dog hops out back of Boat but he only has about 30 inches of rope. Damn. Blew it.
Sigh.
Adapt.
Tie rope in center and shorten it.
He's learning. Grrrr.

There sure as hell aint no green. Fuck I should shot them geese and the mallard too.
Pretty much everything is a wood duck or a mallard here for 40 years then a goldeneye flies by an wham..
Should be ashamed but I'm too old for that.
Should be making excuses but I ain't.
Got away with one or two. Oops.
