Seems simple.
Nail together a box.
Glue it too.
Squareness matters.
Noisy little guy I am.
Eff the neighbors. Nine more to go.

I'm lazy and it takes a while but I got nine ready to be sanded and painted.
They say I'm worthless which is partly true but I've built up a honeybee empire along with a loyal customer base.
Around this area I am the bee man.

I found ten more unassembled supers in the shed.
I'll build them next season.
Buying all the frames and foundations is expensive.
I bought 50 boxes back in 2019.
I'll buy more too.

I noticed honeybees on the sweet gum blooms in the yard yesterday. Spring has sprung down south, getting into the mid eighties this week. The grass is growing and you know what that means:

The first things a honeybee gets to work on are pussy willows, maples, then elm.

It's still cold but that tree thinks it is spring.
That maple is about to pop.

I found all the pieces to make my boat into a fishing boat again. Has a casting seat and everything.

There's a shot of "little Congo".
They're super quiet but gaming the system.
They've got 4 tenants and a family in that small ranch house. When everyone is home there are 7 cars parked.
Parkland College is nearby and they get Congo college kids to rent a room.
Your tax dollars hard at work.
I can't imagine having to live like that.

Your boat looks much larger when rigged for fishing. Hopefully you and Logan can get on some fish this spring.

For the first time in a decade I do not have to buy two lawn tractor batteries this spring.
That's unusual.
Two mowers. Plan on two batteries a year.
I use the El cheapos and that's why I think.
A little -9 and a battery is toast if it's not fully charged.
They freeze and break

I'm in zone 5 I think.
Last frost is generally around 4-25 to 5-5.
That's corn-planting time.
I'll start my seeds around March 15th.
I'm not sure about greens but they can get sewn as soon as I can work the dirt.
It's close...
Put my table up. Plugged the lights in.

Husky cherry tomato seeds are hard as heck to get.
You can get sold something that says it's "Husky" and it's not.
Husky is an excellent choice but they've made it where the only way I can raise them is to buy live plants.
Expensive too.
I'll buy two in gallon size pots.

Went thru a pet Oscar phase and raised guppies for food.
Had a 5 gallon tank for brine shrimp.
Same thing as sea monkeys.
Tropical fish eat them.

We should be drunk and chasing chickens in Mamou, LA today. Instead I’m hanging at the nuke hoping no chillers go down. Fun times.

First you have to drink a 12 pack of miller lite, then dress up like a purple, green and gold KKK member, then get on a horse, then jump off onto a scared chicken along with numerous other winoes. Mamou Mardi Gras, gotta love it.

Hey, anything to keep you from earning a living, eh? I am amazed at how many people GIVE me honey every year. Can't seem to get rid of it fast enough.

When I was a kid we had a dachshund-poodle named Schroeder that'd raise hell every time they started that harmonica song for that TV show.
That dog lived an insane long time.

What’s all this humbug on the national news about olive oil infused coffee? I need to come up with some senseless commodity that the public thinks they need and cash in. Good times.

Emulsified olive oil topping off my coffee?
