Ever hear of D.E.?
Diatomaceous Earth.
It's a powder that's hell on bugs it cuts them up like powdered glass.
It gets in their joints and destroys their exoskeleton and they "bleed out" or dehydrate.
We've been using it on ants. Find where they enter, blow some powder in thru a straw and that entrance is blocked.
Works on fleas too we dusted the house.
It's ant season here and the fight is on.

I use DE on the chickens too. There is edible DE.
People eat it for parasites in some parts on the world.
I throw it in my chicken coop and they dust bath in it.
No bugs in the coop.
DE is not harmful to humans

They should bring back Mirex, the South hasn’t been the same since it was banned. I bet Mexico still sells it.

They used a couple pounds then gave us the rest.
Ten pounds will last you a decade.
Food Grade?

Remember that break in and mower theft?
Been looking for a couple things that must've been taken along with the mowers.
Petty little shit.

A pair of rhino fishing reels on new shiny red poles and my new target thrower.
I'm allowed to add on shit for up to a year but I don't think it feels right to hit farmers insurance again.
They'd pay but ...
I'll just replace the stuff.
I'm glad they covered them mowers and bikes and it was a big check. If you need insurance Farmers is possibly the best.
I did claim work on storm damage for the same company and everyone around here is happy when you're supposed to be bummed. Bum Budum bum bum bum bum...that Farmers Insurance. 8-)
That burglary claim was way easier than I thought it would be.

I'm not sure but think it's possible to store apples long term and maybe pears too.
How?
I think they use nitrogen or some relatively inert gas to keep it from ripening. That and refrigeration.
That is a Bartlett Pear we have Bartlett pear trees.
Our pears aren't that nice because I don't spray

Somehow these websites keep you on their mailing list.
They send you email notifications even though you're banned.
A "back door".

This is funny.

Well then somebody must be lying because you are saying that you are banned from that site and after your departure when a few people asked where you were one mod in particular kept saying that you left by choice and could post at anytime.

I requested that they delete my account and of course they refuse to do that. So I logged off and that was that. My daughter created an account on our home computer and she was banned in about a week or so because she had the same IP as me. I mean no shit we live in the same house and use the same computer. Anyways I like it here. It’s nice having the ability to make a post and not worry about who’s panties are going to get twisted. There is a lot of freedom here and for the most part people don’t get excessive which there everything is so heavily moderated that it causes people to try to push the envelope. I will admit there’s been a few times I have been tempted to go to that site to logon just to see if I was banned and if not to get some of my contact info from some of the private messages. Sucks losing contact with people but that’s just the way it is.

The geography of Champaign-Urbana is different.
Has ridges surrounding it forming a bowl.
Storms tend to break up, part, and go around here then clobber Rantoul, Gifford, and Pennfield.
Sometimes East Urbana gets a piece of the action.
I'm west Champaign.
It got hit in the early 1970s with a very minor tornado.
Other than that storms go around here.

The reviews on these are pretty good.
At that price order them?
Screenshot_20230227_103305_Chrome.jpg

If you find that ad it says they're 25% off.
$79.99 regular price.
Call it $80 to make math ez.
Twenty-five percent off is $60. Not $35.
What kind of genius does Roger's ads? New math?

Back in Gotham City: A few weeks ago someone asked where Aunt Betty and Duckslayer were. Not long after the intellectuals started commenting, a moderator shut the thread down. Aunt Betty/Ricky Spanish shall continue to thrive in the hearts and minds of all the real and pretend waterfowl hunters. Gotta love social media.
