Guided hunts

They say start out with guides.
I hesitate to repeat that because the first few guides I used were completely full of shit. State Champion callers that don't call live birds!?!
No joke.
I hired a goose guide and shot a limit before he found his call. That stinks.

And then I saw an ad on DHC.
Cameraman wanted.
I wanted that job so bad.
They never got the camera so I got to stay there free the whole season. I knew how to hunt and call ducks already but when I saw their setups I knew right away that these are duckmen for real.
Some rubbed off but not enough.
I'll always want more.
The guides at Bayou Bottoms are good and if you just watch and pay attention for a week you will pick up on things and learn the right way.
Start there if you are a newbie.

How many guided hunts?
Uh. 100

Steve Turner is an outstanding guide but I think he's gone and you get his son.
He's good too.

Aunt Betty, the Who's who of Arkansas.

I think this sums it up.
