Well, I've hunted in MN and Canada. MN isn't the greatest at anything one thing, but we are pretty good at a lot of things. Especially if you put your work in.

Now that you put it that way, I haven't hunted a ton of places, either- MD, DE, VA, NC, AZ, NM, WA, and MN. Not too many that are "hot spots" for birds. Although dove in AZ was pretty freaking awesome. And elk in NM was world class.

First and foremost, it's a northern state. Our season has little to do with conditions, as from what I've seen. The birds are just always here throughout the season. Terrain, for me is great. We have timber, big water, creeks, swamps and just about anything else minus salt. Im sure this goes for most states, but i have noticed it more here than where i have hunted. It could be because I hunt a lot of private swamps, but even the WMAs produce a lot of birds for me.

A few big negatives are that our season is short and to me, it starts too early. A lot of our October birds arent even plumed yet. I know there is better but i just haven't been there yet.

I didnt think you were trying to be a dick. I know there are way better places out there. I was just saying from what i have hunted. Anything on the Pac flyway is probably amazing. The birds I saw in California were awesome, and it was in July. Ia'd really like to get to AK too.

That's not a bad idea with all of you so close. Set it up red and ill send out some stickers and t shirts that will soon be floating around.

Boot and I talked about it a few weeks ago. He knows a guy down here that guides for geese, might be a possibility. We should be able to figure something out.

Hey, that might work out not too shabby either. I'm sure a few of the womens wouldn't mind going to California either. Not to hunt, obviously, we'll put them up in a hotel somewhere else, but selling the idea of running across country gets a whole lot easier when you say "Want to go to california?"

Oh goldfish they would be so disappointed when they get here and realize they are 4 hours from the ocean and they are staying in a town that looks like it should be in Kentucky.
