I know Stalin has been estimated from 17-20 mil, but I have never really heard any real numbers for Lenin.
Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven." Such is the rule of honor.

Well, 17-20 million was the number of deaths estimated to come directly from Stalin. Around 50-60 million died under him total, but the 20 mil was directly because of him. He had a pretty high season tally on the USSR message boards.

She likes polka...not joking. I got this from my mom yesterday:

Hi boys I got a message from Peg yesterday when I got home last night. Grama was at her dance place and the last dance of the night she fell. I talked with her on the phone and she said her foot hit where the wood floor and the tile met and she lost her balance or tripped and went flying into a metal chair and then fell. Jerry and Donna took her home but she ended up going to the hospital for xrays . no broken bones but her ribs are pretty banged up. She hit very hard. She's in a lot of pain and it's hard for her to breathe but that is expected with this kind of injury. I doubt she'll be going anywhere or at least dancing for awhile so if you'd like to call and wish her well I know she'd love that. Her number is

What's funny is that he was Time's Person of the Year...twice. Not saying much as they named Adolf Hitler the Person of the Year also.

I think Time person of the year isnt relative to good or bad, just who made the biggest impact upon the world, so that is quite befitting.

I would still consider it an honor, good or bad. They were brilliant for sure, but I don't think they needed any attention at the time.

Also, Hitler was Person of the Year before WWII
