Caddyshack is weak. Fletch (both of them) and Vacation (all three of them) are better than Caddyshack.

Rodney Dangerfield is my damn hero, pretty much the reason I like Caddyshack the most. Another good movies is The Ghost and the Darkness.

I know, I got sidetracked trying to think who all was in it. Had to re-watch it today because it has been forever. Felt like getting into an older movie thing and watch some of Bill effin Murray's older stuff.

That is a great movie. "You went into battle with an unproven rilfe?"

If you want to read a good book about african hunting pick up Hunter by J.A Hunter.

Guy killed over 1400 elephants, 1000 rhino, and countless hundreds of lion and buffalo while he lived in africa. Very good read.

Major league, nuff said.

not a Chevy chase movie

Although it may not be you stated that fletch was better than NL and I am just saying that major league is better than fletch. If you would like to compare Chevy chase movies, caddyshack will win every time and it is listed. If I agreed with you on your previous statement we would both be wrong Red

are you trying to turn this into a serious debate? We were discussing Chevy chase movies. Done

And fletch is ten times a better movie than caddyshack

Beef's thread about movie endings reminded me of 3 movies that were great and had great endings. The Usual Suspects, Man on Fire, and Gran Torino. All three had great endings that were not the normal Hollywood style.

Didn't read it all, but did anyone mention the Evil Dead series?
Also, Gran Torino would have been a lot better if Clint knew he couldn't sing.

Duke would have tore Clint apart. I have just always thought Clint was a terrible actor, not saying westerns are a great example of acting, but John Wayne and Lee van Cleef seemed to always fit the roles.
