I'll see if he's got it laying around.
It would have been back in the late 50's or early '60.
As I understand it, he killed a guy in a shoot out and decided to look for a new line of work not long after that.

my neighbor's grandpa was a CHiPie bout the same time. Think his idea was in the 2000's. We don't recycle ours like other agencies do, so you can determine when a person worked based on his ID

dammit red, I am confused as shit from this post.

fixed it for you...simpleton

No it is the ships home port, we overhauled 2 engines and the computer systems are currently being upgraded. The contractors doing it are as slow as tortoises. It's easy money though. I'll probably be here for 3 more weeks before getting underway.

Was trying to do an Internet search for him...I found my aunts obituary from when they lived in Kings County and he worked for CHP, but can't find anything related to his service.

It's SoCal. They're proud of everything. And while San Diego may be nice to look at, I found it boring and vanilla. If you took away Mexican food, there'd be little left. No personality to that town.

Agreed, I have seen several good looking girls though. If I had known I was going to be in port this long, I would've brought my board and wet suit.

Well I guess that's closer than I am today.

We'll probably have to suspend our games of WWF while i'm "in country" as I may actually suffer physical harm without a half-continent buffer zone to take the sting out of my beatings.
