I listen to everything, but I draw the line at anything harder than Mudvayne.

Lol...Mudvayne

New stuff is terrible, bought the CD and couldnt stand it. Older stuff was pretty good, only listened to it in the gym. Now I have pandora and a Heavy metal station.

Here is some beginner metal. Give them a chance.

When he's not screaming, he sounds gay. Which leads me to believe that even when he's screaming, he's gay.

Diecast are a little sloppy for me. I'm more into speed and prog metal...and thrash. Still better than cuntry

there are a ton of metal bands...but most of them suck. As a musician, I don't think there is really any other genre that encompasses actual talent. Of course there are plenty of bands out there with talent, but as a whole, a group of school kids aren't going out and starting a speed metal band anytime soon.

Agreed. The things that a country, blues or rock artist can do on a guitar, the drums, and bass doesn't compare to the ability of good metal artist.

Some people find comfort in listening to a song that a 10 year old could have written the lyrics to, lol

These guys aren't really a band, just got together and recorded some stuff, but it's what I would call advanced. Most of you will just hear noise

There are greats for every type of music out there, but the majority reside in one section 8-)

Here is just the drum track to the Mechanism song. Just because he is a metalhead, doesn't mean he isn't the nicest person you will ever meet. And to boot, probably one of the best prog drummers out there.
