Cross post from DHC

Today was the last day of the KS waterfowl season. Wind was howling constant 30mph, gusting over 45 and nothing was flying. Didn't think anything was gonna happen. Then with 2 minutes left of LST, 3 honkers came in riding the wind and skirted me at about 60 mph. Then disappeared. Then came screaming back in and came feet down. Doubled on 2. The third flew off. Flagged and called him back in and he met his demise. A great ending to an even greater season.


Just want to send a shout out to Jarbo, the Indas, Byers and Crazymatt for the most extraordinary season I've ever had - by any measure- bird totals, friends met or memories made.

Can't say enough about how fortunate I've been this season and this year. Owe it a lot to DHC and the great guys on here. Thanks again everyone.

Just thought I'd get all sentimental for a minute. Now back to da Alpha.

Awesome on both our parts!!


Nice pictures BTW. I know you had a great season. Its not over, turkey season is just around the corner!

Some kind of rule prohibits that. Those guys who own that other site get to go play with they money they make from all the ads and sponsors. Seems as if they are willing to eliminate all fun content to preserve their playtime.
