The government ran outa money before. Shut down for a couple weeks and sent everyone home on paid leave...somehow.
I was on vacation in college. Went and camped at Oakwood Bottoms to hunt ducks. Didn't have to pay because the office that collected the camping fee was closed. That's how it affected me.
I've heard that it's incredibly stupid to fuck around with a crazy man's head.
