Warrior Cultures

The Spartans and the Vikings were both true Warrior societies.

Vikings are coming out in a History Channel series this Sunday.

The Spartan army was so feared that often the battle was over when they uncovered the chevrons on their shields. The opposing armies would simply pack up and leave. :mrgreen:

I don't know if I'd call the vikings a "warrior society". If their MO makes them warriors, then most northern Wisconsin snowmobile clubs are warrior societies.

I'll let the DVR catch it and skim thru it but if it doesn't pick up, it's getting canned. Had kind of high hopes for it too.

I've seen every episode of Vikings so far. Plot seems to be getting better as things progress.
