They're usually right next to the cinnamon rolls. I'm assuming that those were the ones in the biscuit tube. If not, if they were "pre-made", then there probably weren't any orange rolls. I've only ever seen them in the tubes.

I'd say it has more to do with the greenbacks rolling off the printing press than any drought. Droughts don't explain the increase in crude oil price or gold, but a pathetically weak dollar certainly does.

No question that printing money is having an affect on inflation.

But specific to the food supply-the shortage of corn and beef is the major driver of current prices.

I'm not with you one this one. Can't stand any kind of orange glaze, chocolate, marmalade...love oranges though.

Sampler Platter from Cracker Barrel for breakfast this morn. Paid for by my brother, which made it even better.

If you ever happen to go through Yoder, I would highly recommend stopping at the Carriage House restaurant just off the highway. Excellent, excellent food (it's an Amish/Mennonite place), and get the sour cream and raisin pie. Holy hell that's good. While we were outside smoking after eating, our waitress came out in her Mennonite dress and hair-thingy, got on a tractor parked out back, and drove off down the road. My kind of place.

Sour cream and raisin pie? That sounds like something from a game my brother and I used to play when we were kids. One of us would mix up the grossest concoction of ingredients we could find in the fridge/pantry, and the other one had to eat/drink it. The loser was the fist one that said "nope."

Sour cream and raisin pie would have fit right in.
