To get this back on topic for a min.
I went to my uncles over the weekend and met the puppy and had a talk with him and his son. We are going to try and make it his sons dog and I am just going to aid in training, but through duck season I will have access to her when I go hunting. My little cousin started puppy obedience training with her (she is 11 weeks old right now). She will sit and come to near perfection already. She loves to play fetch but needs a little work on that yet. I'm going to try and work with her 3-4 times a week to help keep my cousin on track. If you guys have any ideas for me to try try or if I'm ever doing something wrong let me know because this is my first time training a retriever.

I am good with that. I love my M2. Reading the squabbling between the posters over a few hundred shillings amuses me. I paid $1,268.00 for my Benelli and it was the best gun purchase I ever made. And guess what? It won't shoot 3" mags. How on earth will I be able to kill birds??

No, I don't want to have a discussion about price. But I think we could have a discussion about value.

Nova vs Wingmaster? 870 hands down.

Benelli vs the other autoloading shotguns? Well, for me its Benelli. I enjoy shooting with my pinky sticking out. You can see that I am enjoying my gun on this recent hunt.

You will notice I never talk bad about others choice of guns or dogs. I know what works for me. I don't have to shoot your gun, that is on you. I worry about my gun.

As for dogs, this is a slippery slope. Some unnamed cocksuckers on another forum expressed opinions on my dog I took exception with. I don't comment on others dogs unless it affects me or I am asked to help. Enough said.

My advice is to stay OUT of the DHC hunting dog forum. If you DO go there make sure and grab a stack of hurt feelings reports. You will need them. TK? What say you?
