Never read LOTR or seen the movies.

Read and enjoyed Harry Potter. Takes something tremendous to write a story like that. I have mad respect for authors that do it. J.K Rowling is the first human to make one billion dollars writing books.

I've read the "Song of Ice and Fire" series by George R.R. Martin. Any LOTR fans should do the same. Very excellent stories. The HBO series is outstanding as well. And since its HBO you know the boobies are prime.

Only difference is viewers of lord of the rings don't know what to do with boobies

What pisses me off about "The Hobbit" is they are dragging it out to 3 movies and are STILL leaving out important details and characters.

I read TLOR when I was in the 9th grade. Not by choice but because I was forced to. I still read 5 to 10 books on a monthly basis, but I'm not a fan of that particular genre of books.

Why don't you pick up Idiot's Guide to Small Water Craft? It's a thick read, but well worth it.

All the Terminators, Rockys, Rambos, Robo Cops, and Predators are great in a row on a Sunday when your licking your wounds from a Saturday binge gone way overboard. Dont do star wars or harry potter, but this TLOR business makes the cut lads.
