I'm going to post these pictures outside the asian markets in town. I'll have my fishing spots all to myself this spring.

you actually pan with the camera, it has an arrow and a line to help with your horizon and yells at you if you go to fast, I'm guessing the speed and your ability to stand be still effect the quality, would be kick ass feature to have on a dslr with a tripodbanknote wrote:jehler wrote:first try with the panorama on the iPhonebanknote wrote:jehler wrote:

Wondered about that. Works well. I don't see any seams.

It was glorious. We're in the midst of a record dry late winter/spring.

you ever seen torpedo divers, work lots better than the ballsbanknote wrote:jehler wrote:Lot of bend in the rod, Dipsy divers?
8oz lead balls and cut plug herring. Some of the rods had flashers, too. All my buddy's gear.
Those particular rods are longer and softer than the typical setup. Regs just went barbless and some folks seem to think this will help keep hooked fish under better tension.

they get the bait down with less weight and less drag, you can actually feel the fish, if your dragging bottom they foul a lot more than a ball but otherwise are much more versatile. We have real clear water so I can let out a lot more line, sometimes 150' or better and clip on one of thosebanknote wrote:jehler wrote:you ever seen torpedo divers, work lots better than the ballsbanknote wrote:jehler wrote:Lot of bend in the rod, Dipsy divers?

Never seen those. We're typically only running about 10-20 feet deep. Some times the ball actually bounces bottom a little. You think they'd work better?
