No. About 45 days. And the electric was due to the damn water trough heaters for the horses. Fuckers.

AT,
My electric bull here is about $95 a month. My propane bill is $88 a month.

Enjoy your life in the communist commonwealth of Maryland. There is a seat open for you on the Mary Frances opening day, and you can hunt deer on my land. And I can GURANTEE you no teacher here will tell your kids hunting is not fair.

When I burn the woodstove, my propane bill is about $75 a month. When I don't, and it's cold, it's around $600. The woodstive definitely pays for itself. Electric isn't bad, though- in the summer with the AC on, it's about $150, winter, about $70. Unless she plugs those damn heaters in and I don't know about it. They make the meter spin, which is why I usually just go break the ice and grab it out in the mornings when necessary. Cold, cold hands, but cheap, cheap electric bill.

My gas bill was $250 for February and $150ish for March. Electric is running around $150ish. Hopefully the new windows will cut the bills down some.

Finally pulled the trigger on my first bow. Got a Bear Encounter RTH package. It seemed to be the best bow within my price range and also had the draw length I would need being as tall as I am.

I can't wait, like Doc I'll be learning to bow hunt from the ground up. I've never been and because I'm left handed I've only shot a bow a handful of times in my life. It'll be fun for sure!

I grew up bowhunting and i love it. But it can get real boring if there isn't anything moving.

That's hard to do with a bow in hardwood forests with 50-100 yard visibility. Your best off to let them come to you.

I'm guessing you've never been to the Pacific Northwest part of the US. There are very few places you can see that far here. Actually, the brushier the better, to a certain extent. It allows you to get closer to the game.
I wasn't really trying to put a dig on your style or type of hunting, was just saying, if they aren't moving then you should just move to them.
Most of my animals I've killed with a bow are inside 30 yards. In 2011, I was 10 yards from an elk and couldn't get a clear shot, so I didn't shoot. It's just part of the game.

I understand what your getting at, but if you've ever attempted to hunt deer in the northern LP of Michigan you would understand how useless it is to try and stalk. The whitetails here are so pressured from hunters that a stalk is nearly impossible. Especially to get into bow range.
