The said no wide and I settled for a lower quality boot for nearly the same cost.
Irish Setters are still pretty damn good boots.

At $180 I hope so, although having never been in a red wings store I had no idea that there were work boots that costs $400 and that makes $180 look like nothing.

rebelp74 wrote:Best hunting boot I've had is Danner. I think the proghorn model. Also have a pair of Cabela's heavily insulated hunting boots that are probably 10+ years old. They look old and have been through hell but are still holding up.

I allways go Lacoste for hunting boots, in 15 years of hunting I have owned only two pairs.
Great hunting boots... almost too warm, very comfortable and obviously durable. One down side they are a bit heavy for a long walk.

I like the danner's I have. Lightwieght, waterproof, and durable. Not insulated but it works for La. Never tried Lacoste, based on the some of their shirts I have I'd imagine the boots cost is upwards of $300?

I went Red Wings Shoes today, they don't make a Red Wings work boot in wide.
Had to settle for the Irish Setter... Which is made by Red Wing, kind of odd.

It does, I can cram into a 15 but not with wool socks. It sucks, nobody carries them in stores around the house, I always have to order.

Even if that was offered, I won't buy boots or shoes unless I've had them on.
I have a similar rule for boats and hoes.
