It's a well made boat.

They are a little noisy, but overall very stable.

$800 is a reasonable price, I think they're around $1100 new. The owner of WW (makers of the UFO) is a raging asshole and hates my guts. As long as you don't ever have to deal with him you're in good shape.

Tony Homer...goes by that name over on MS if you want to check out some interwebz gold. Search his old posts and prepare to laugh.

Everytime someone asks for advice on a layout he shows up and trashes everyone's boat but his....drives him bonkers that we by $1600 boats out of Utah and recommend them to anyone that's looking.

If I didn't have the history with Tony I do, I'd have no issue recommending the boat. The design is good, the quality is good.

But the guys at LBLb have basically allowed us to build our dream boat, taking our input and building the molds. And they turn out a boat that is superior to anything else currently made.

BS. Offer an ashtray collection, and ask the guy to drive it down to your house so you can look at it.

Did you happen to see where he was on MS saying he could tow a UFO @ 35mph behind a boat??? He caught a lot of hell for that.

Didn't they stop selling those towable islands because people were "flying" on them behind boats and getting hurt? I'd imagine it's the same thing, but the name would be more fitting

We had a 2 man Bankes Revolution that was super comfortable and a riot to hunt out of...but a pain in the ass to transport and tow.

Will probably get another one when the boys get old enough to cut their teeth in the sled.

Shouldn't be chop in the trail if tow length is proper.

Yes. Bankes makes a fantastic boat, but definitely on the heavy side.

The LBLb has similar finish quality and is borderline illegal the profile is so low. The BBII we helped design is only 128#

its the cost, the boat is reasonable no doubt, but the options and shipping put it a bit out of my budget right now

I know they are working on getting a distributor in MI....that will help the shipping costs tremendously. We had 4 of them sent last time, that helped too.
